Designer & Owner
After giving up a career in the financial world to raise her three children, Lea’s second act is in the world of interior decorating.
Lea has always had a good eye for design, hence the loosely translated Greek name “kalo mati”, and she has honed her natural ability redecorating residences and creating very custom and unique weddings for her daughters.
Lea’s current style is a fusion of vintage and modern, helping people more efficiently refresh existing spaces or creating new ones.
She has a passion for choosing just the right floral arrangement, tablescape or art, and loves to incorporate those elements into projects in the home or for any event large or small. She also carries her love for interiors to the outside and has a good eye for landscaping design. Lea is happiest when seeing the transformation come to life, having created something magical.

She loves to support clients with their visions, building the perfect setting to celebrate the love that surrounds them.

Throughout the process of landscape design, KRD practices sustainable landscaping efforts while employing the best management practices to keep the environment free of pesticides and herbicides.

As the owner of a vintage home decor shop in St. Charles, she specializes in helping clients create bespoke gallery walls and stylishly arranging bookshelves, bar carts, and other cozy corners. Rachel's keen eye for unique pieces not only enhances aesthetics but also adds character and charm to every room, reflecting her commitment to making each space truly personal and inviting.
